One of our favorite letterboxes is Mt. Misery in Valley Forge, PA, planted by The Doyles'. We just love their clues and the wonderful hike! So, as thanks to them and to everyone who finds their box, we decided to plant a bonus box.

From the Mt. Misery Letterbox, go to the trail junction sign for the Horseshoe Trail and Covered Bridge. Go approximately 70 steps up the mountain on the Horseshoe Trail. You'll notice a group of fallen trees on your left. Look for the box in the base of the fallen tree under the rocks at 195 degrees.
